Steamed Fish - Hati Kicap - Chicken Curry

Yeah we've been eating out quite a lot for the past 1 week of the new year but that didn't stop me from cooking in my own kitchen for either lunch or dinner...........
As you know , my method of cooking might be different from yours....so , excuse me. My main objective & concern.........is to cook the raw ingredients and so that am able to eat them. Other than that , well ,,,,,,don't care much lah.

Making steamed bawal today......ok ,,,, let's see what did I put in it. Water from soaking the dried mushrooms + dried mushrooms + oyster sauce + black pepper.
Some spring onions......
Some young ginger........
Some garlic..............
Put it in the steamer & add dashes of sesame seed oil.......
Add some tomatoes then it's steaming time...........
While waiting............
Forgot how long it took exactly to cook...........20 minutes perhaps.....just cut through the flesh of the fish , you'll know when it's done.

A quick one........garlic + sambal paste + prawns + long beans.......ok siap!

Hehehe.........my easy dinner. Lazy to cook lah!

Today am making chicken curry.........Yna nak makan.
Seperti biasa........I'll susun all the ingredients in the pot. Crazy huh??!! Works fine for me.
Add my fav instant chicken curry paste + a bit of vegetable oil , fry everything till it's fragrant.

When ingredients are cooked , add some water & potatoes. When potatoe are soft & tender , add more water *if you want more gravy*..............or maybe you'd like a dry curry version. Either way is fine as long as it's eatable.
It's boiling now........in goes the chicken.
Lastly , some sweet cherry tomatoes & green chilies.
Done , done , done.

Some veggies......cauliflower + mushrooms + spring onions.

Add couple table spoons of oyster sauce & a bit of water........cover it.

In goes some spring onions and that's it. Heat off , splash few dashes of sesame seed oil.

Next!

Some scramble eggs........with macam - macam ada in it....hehehe! 6 eggs + chopped spring onions + milk + mushrooms + S&P to taste.......

In goes the tomatoes for some colour.

Siap , siap , siap..........

Am making hati masak kicap........teringin nak makan.

Clean the beef liver , smudge some tamarind paste on the liver.......rub well. Set aside for 10 minutes or so and rinse to remove the paste. Parboil beef liver and then slice 'em thinly.

Oil + chili paste + chopped ginger + chopped garlic , fry till fragrant.
Add a packet of 'masak kicap' spices , fry some more.......
Add a bit of water.......then add the half cooked liver.
Add few table spoons of kecap manis + salt to taste , then add some green chilies.....
Lastly add some yellow onions and you're done.
